This document provides instructions for a 6th grade physical science and visual arts integration project where students will sketch and describe a wind turbine inspired by Alexander Calder's mobiles that generates energy. Students are asked to design a wind turbine with at least one part in the shape of a traditional turbine to harness wind power and then explain how their design generates energy.
