Hugh Neffendorf: NEED - Non-domestic Energy Efficiency Data FrameworkAGI Geocommunity
The document proposes a Non-Domestic Energy Efficiency Data Framework to provide evidence for national energy efficiency and carbon reduction policy by containing information about all non-domestic premises in Britain and their energy use. It details key concepts such as Energy Consuming Units and Energy Accounting Units to organize energy data and properties. The framework would link various data sources such as property valuations, meter points, and consumption data to create a national model for analyzing non-domestic building energy use. An initial pilot project in Bristol found matching these different data sources to be feasible.
Top-down and bottom-up approaches to estimating city-level CO2 emissions have complementary strengths and weaknesses. Top-down approaches use aggregated national data to provide overall emission figures for sectors but cannot identify specific pollution hotspots. Bottom-up approaches use highly disaggregated local data in engineering models to suggest outcomes of policies and efficiency measures, but require detailed equipment-level information. An ideal approach for cities would combine top-down and bottom-up methods to establish baselines, forecast reductions, and inform targeted actions.
Our recent studies have shown the growing need of integrations between products from different vendors. This is why we, DO iT WiSE, developed another new product to improve your End-to-end monitoring - the NewRelic Connector for HP BSM.
Solarwinds(npm) hp bsm integration package finalkobyah
The document discusses an integration package that enables Solarwinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) to integrate with HP Business Service Management (BSM) by allowing topology and event data to be forwarded from Solarwinds to BSM. The package uses a BSM Connector component to pull topology from Solarwinds, map the monitored objects to CIs in BSM's configuration management database (CMDB), and map and forward alerts and events to BSM's event console. This provides centralized event management and relates infrastructure monitoring to dependent IT services in BSM.
Latency is a key indicator of service quality, and important to measure and track. However, measuring latency correctly is not easy. In contrast to familiar metrics like CPU utilization or request counts, the "latency" of a service is not easily expressed in numbers. Percentile metrics have become a popular means to measure the request latency, but have several shortcomings, especially when it comes to aggregation. The situation is particularly dire if we want to use them to specify Service Level Objectives (SLOs) that quantify the performance over a longer time horizons. In the talk we will explain these pitfalls, and suggest three practical methods how to implement effective Latency SLOs.

HTML is the standard markup language used to create web pages. It uses tags to structure and present content. Some key tags are:
<html> - Defines an HTML document
<head> - Contains metadata like <title>
<body> - Contains visible page content like <h1> headings, <p> paragraphs
HTML tags can be container tags which have opening and closing tags, or empty tags which are single tags without a closing tag. Attributes provide additional information about elements and are included in the opening tag. Common attributes are title, class, style, and id. HTML allows formatting of text using tags like <b> for bold, <i> for italic, and <img> to

The document summarizes various JSTL core tags used for conditional and iterative operations in JSP pages. The <c:if> tag displays content if a condition is true. The <c:choose>, <c:when>, <c:otherwise> tags function like a switch statement, with <c:when> displaying content if its condition is true and <c:otherwise> displaying otherwise. The <c:forEach> tag iterates over a collection, while <c:forTokens> iterates over tokens separated by a delimiter in a string. The <c:param> tag adds parameters to a URL, and <c:redirect> redirects the browser to a new URL, supporting parameters. The <c:url>

The document discusses hidden form fields and URL rewriting for maintaining state across web pages. Hidden form fields store hidden input values that are submitted with a form to another page. Common uses include storing page IDs in comment forms. URL rewriting appends parameter name-value pairs to URLs so that clicking links passes the parameters. Both approaches maintain state without cookies or extra form submissions, but hidden fields only work with forms while URL rewriting only works with links.

The temple and the sanctuary around were dedicated to Asklepios Zmidrenus. This name has been known since 1875 when an inscription dedicated to him was discovered in Rome. The inscription is dated in 227 AD and was left by soldiers originating from the city of Philippopolis (modern Plovdiv).

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.
