This document outlines the agenda for a seminar on CAD standards. It is divided into three sections with breaks in between. The purpose is to help participants build knowledge of CAD standards to develop skills for future jobs. CAD standards set guidelines for CAD drawings to improve productivity when sharing files between offices and programs. Section 1 discusses why standards are important and what must be standardized, such as layers, line weights, annotation, and file naming. Section 2 covers these topics in more depth. Section 3 discusses developing and implementing standards through stakeholder involvement and ongoing maintenance. The seminar aims to explain the benefits of CAD standards for both individuals and companies in increasing efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
