- 13. Edit Color 1 2 3 1. Select the shape to change the color and Right click the object( click any object which you want to change color) 2. Choose Format Shape in the dialog box. 3. Choose “Fill” in the Format Shape box then “Solid” or “Gradient” depending on the appearance of the object. Change colour as shown in the picture.

Editor's Notes
- We have gathered staff feedback along the way to guide our planning and based on this, as well as our overall vision for this learning, we believe our next phase of learning needs to be around the “Teach for Understanding” areas of making meaning and transference of the knowledge and skill staff have been introduced to during August and October. We acknowledge that in a perfect world the gaps in time we find between our learning days would not be present; however we must plan within the timeframe provided.
- Our district has dedicated a good portion of our professional learning to Assessment Literacy. We began building a common foundation by using our Classroom Assessment for Student Learning book (CASL) and the five keys for quality assessments. In August we introduced the staff to this intent, along with giving purpose for our initial learning. Between this first day and our October day we facilitated initial learning and acquired common understanding around three of the keys: Clear Purpose, Clear Targets, and Sound Design.
- The Assessment Cycle consists of 8 steps: Determine users of assessment results and how results will be used (p104) Identify learning targets to be assessed (p106) Select appropriate assessment method(s) (p107) Determine sample size (p107) Develop or select items, tasks, scoring procedures (p112) Review/critique assessment for quality, sources of bias and distortion (p112) Conduct and score assessment (p113) Revise as needed for use in future (p113)
- Our district Assessment Philosophy states: Meaningful assessments serve clear and appropriate purposes, reflect valued student learning targets, and are designed to yield accurate results about the learning targets. Our idea to move our collective learning forward, taking into account staff feedback and best practice in teaching for understanding, we propose the next two full days of professional learning be designed within two frames: 1 - making meaning and transference; 2 - the three keys of Clear Purpose, Clear Targets, and Sound Design.
- So……what should all of us do at the end of the day? Your building leaders will have a better answer than I – what I do ask, is the evidence you share with them, we would like as well. Personal reflection of the day – I will provide a google doc you can use through your Google Classroom we established, Your evidence from your work today I’d like to leave you with a few words from some colleagues of sorts in the national spotlight - So – the dlt and assessment team hope you make the most of this day.
