A non opinionated BPM platform with a low-code development approach focused in delivery long term
reliable and high performance process automation
The path to success starts by unlocking the knowledge
and experience from those that own and are responsible
for an specific process. Often these business experts are
forced to explain to IT how the process should work or
are given tools that enforce technical concepts too early
in the project lifecycle. These situations create
unnecesary challenges that disrupt the creative and
collaborative engagement needed to understand how a
process should and can work.
Analyst Workbench is a web-based BPMN 2.0
collaborative modeling environment. It allows
non-technical users to model and document their
business processes with a strong focus on collaboration
and knowledge sharing. Modeled processes can be
imported in everteam.designer for further automation
and deployment.
Business users
taking control of
their processes
Feature Spotlight: Analyst Workbench
17
Analyst Workbench empowers business users to lead process discovery, definition, and modeling. By leveraging
collaboration and documentation features embeddded in the Analyst Workbench, non-technical users can
iterate and model processes until the desired behavior is reflected in their own diagram. These diagrams not only
become corporate knowledge ready to be shared with the organization, they also can be delivered to
process engineers in IT to be turned into live processes.
Analyst Workbench
18
For those performing processes and tasks, the idea of an
automated solution may sound scary. "Why if I need
something else?" "What will I do if some case needs
some unexpected processing?" These concerns can
lead to additional-- and long -- requirements that reflect
users trying to cover every possible scenario. More
requirements can’t guarantee that all possibilities will be
covered -- but do disrupt the project team’s ability to
deliver a solution in a timely manner.
Adhoc Processing delivers support for adding new,
human-driven activities to an automated process
instance at runtime. Users are in control of the new task
placement in relation to the current tasks. New tasks
inherit all the process context and execute as if they
were modeled in the original process diagram.
Automate processes
without
compromising
flexibility
Feature Spotlight: AdHoc Processing
19
Business users have traditionally feared that automated processes would limit their ability to
react to unpredictable scenarios. Ad Hoc tasks remove that fear by giving users full control of any
new/special tasks that need to be included in a particular process instance - without compromising
BPM abilities to audit the complete process execution.
Adhoc Processing
20
When process activities are executed by a dedicated
team, running a high-performance operation depends on
the ability to maximize the productivity of team members
and to intervene in real-time. As more businesses
support their high-volume processes using BPM
technology, more features are needed to ensure high
efficiency without compromising control.
Task balancing features provide out-of-the-box
algorithms and support plugging in new ones to
distribute human tasks across a group of process
participants.
Once deployed, our team dashboards allows team
managers visibility into processes in progress and the
capability to intervene when necessary.
Feature Spotlight: Team Operations
21
Better visibility for
the front line of
process execution
Team managers can direct the process model to distrubute tasks in the patterns that
deliver better results and still closely monitor team performance in real time. As team managers
feel more comfortable supporting operations with automated solutions, more processes
will be candidates for automation leading to an increased understanding, control, and
productivity of business operations.
Team Operations
22
Processes tasks usually deliver the basic information
needed by the task worker to complete the tasks. Still,
context is relevant. "What happened before this task?"
"What conversation did my teammates have about this
particular case?" "How can I team up with my peers to
get this done?" All of these are reasonable requests from
task workers while completing tasks. Still, there is
resistance to implementing these capabilities in each
process task.
Human tasks now come with a rich context that allows
process workers to collaborate with peers via
conversations and by sharing the tasks and related files.
everteam.ibpms 8.0 also includes features to understand
the history of the process instance and the ability to see
exactly where is the current task located in the process
model.
Empowering those
that get things done
Feature Spotlight: Tasks Context
23
By giving tasks workers richer understanding of thier tasks and tools to collaborate, fewer
requirements will be pushed to process engineers, thus reducing the time-to-market of the
automated processes. Also, these extra tools facilitate the work needed to complete tasks,
delivering higher productivity and better process results.
Tasks Context
24
Process owners and responsible stakeholders need to
understand how is the operation performing and to be
able to identify trends that could lead to opportunities.
Being able to see day-to-day details and easily jump to
an aggregated view of key processes is critical to
support the ongoing effort of achieving business
objectives.
Common task execution performance metrics are
collected by default without requiring any effort from
developers or users.
Users can create and share customized dashboards that
summarize the status and common performance metrics
of deployed processes.
Effortless and
secure process
performance
monitoring
Feature Spotlight: BAM Dashboards
25
Process performance insights are a basic benefit that customers seek when implementing BPM.
By removing the development effort to collect the most common data and allowing administrators
to create as many dashboards as needed to ensure the accessibility of the summarized information,
customers can expect out-of-the-box value and reduce their development effort.
