Job Title: Business Analyst and Marketing Specialist
Reports To: CEO
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY: As a business analyst, conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design
systems and procedures, conduct work simplification studies, and prepare operations and
procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. As a
marketing specialist, research marketing conditions to determine potential sales opportunities
and engage marketing campaigns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS BUSINESS ANALYST:
Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as inventory control, organization
change, communications, and cost analysis.
Consult with functional unit management to identify, define and document business
needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output
requirements
Analyze the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new systems and
enhancement to existing systems
Identify opportunities for improving business processes; assist in the preparation of
proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes
Plan, organize and conduct business process improvement projects
Research and prepare statistical reports using internal computer systems and surveys.
Consolidate information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other
written for use in management decision making
Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new
systems, procedures, or organizational changes
Train and confer with personnel to ensure successful functioning of implemented
procedures
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS MARKETING SPECIALIST:
Assist with business-to-business marketing
Participate in marketing efforts, including e-marketing, direct mail, and hosting MHM
trade fair or event booth
Gather data on competitors and analyze their method of marketing and distribution
Analyze customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify
potential opportunities
Monitor urgent care industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature
Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs
Measure the effectiveness of MHM marketing and advertising strategies
Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction
2. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all HIPAA regulations to maintain patient rights to privacy by not discussing
privileged information outside the work area and preserving the patients’ dignity at all
times
Understand, promote and operate by overall company vision and values, goals, objectives
and strategies
Help other employees to accomplish the Center’s Goals
Participate in the Disaster Recovery plan as required
Promote harmony, teamwork, leadership and good supervisory and employee relations
through example
