This document summarizes a project on creating a burglar alarm circuit using common electronic components. The objective is to ensure security of property using a device that monitors for burglary attempts using a light dependent resistor, variable resistor, LED, IC 555 timer chip, and 9V battery connected on a breadboard. Diagrams of the circuit and its working principle are provided, along with components used and conclusions about home security being an important growing field with technological advances improving efficiency of alarms over time.
