2. What is bullying?
• Bullying is the use of force, threat, or
coercion to abuse, intimidate, or
aggressively dominate others.
• Rationalizations for such behaviour
sometimes include differences of social
class, race, religion, gender, sexual
orientation, appearance, behavior, body
language, personality, reputation, lineage,
strength, size or ability.
9. Cyber Bullying:
• Using the internet,
social media and
other to say mean
or embarrassing
things.
10. The effects of bullying:
• Post-traumatic stress
• Depression
• Decreased self-esteem
• Suicidal thoughts or actions
• Negative outlook on school
11. What can we do to stop
bullying?
If we witness a scene of physical
violence:
• We try to calm down the aggressor and we ask
them to let the victim go;
• If we manage, we can try to separate the victim
from the aggressor;
• We can speak with an authority: teachers or the
principal. If we need, we can ask for help from
the security guards that should be in each
school.
12. If we are watching a scene of psychic
violence :
• We can defend the victim
• We can speak with the aggressor to leave alone
the victim
• We can announce a teacher
If we are the victims of the bullying:
• Ask for help! There always will be at least one
person who can help us concretely. We decide who
that person is!
