3. Conclusion
The extensive use ofprecastand prefabricated building components, repetition ofstructural layout as well
as the utilization ofstandardized components based on MS1064 in this building lead to a high total IBS
score of91 over 100, indicating a well-structured assessmentsystem in this project. It has obtained the
maximum points of50 and 20 for part 1 and 2 respectively. However, the compliance ofdoor and window
sizes with MS1064 is overlooked. To further improve the score in part3, W2 (450mm x 900mm) can be
changed to 600mm x 1200mm, following the preferred size stated in MS1064. Similar amendmentcan be
done for other doorsets and windowsets.
