A busy night in the Dock Office preparing paperwork for arriving and departing vehicles transporting goods between distribution centers, and ensuring delivery vehicles had the information needed for their morning routes. On opening the distribution center on Sunday, vehicle inspections were conducted and any defects from the previous night were addressed, such as an unsecured load causing damage. Coordinating replacement vehicles over weekends can be challenging for meeting scheduled departures. A contract driver collected paperwork for returning a trailer and had coffee with staff before leaving for a transport back to another distribution center at 2:00 AM. Remaining vehicles awaited their drivers in the yard after a successful night of loading goods transported from several distribution centers and picked up locally.

Opening the RDC on a Sunday evening, one of the first jobs was vehicle inspections and checking any defects reported by drivers
returning late the previous night after the RDC has closed. Here an example of a load unsecured has caused vehicle damage. This
is always a challenge over weekends to the loading operation and sourcing a replacement vehicle in sufficient time to laod ready for
scheduled depot departure time.

Early morning in the yard the remaining vehicles await their drivers after a successful night shift loading. Stock is trunked from
Chelmsford, Aldershot and Nottingham as well as that which is picked in the CSR and RDC at Basingstoke.
