I am currently working as a Technician Level 2 at the above mentioned terminal.
My day-to-day job requires me to load tankers, line up tank systems, conduct tank
gauging, blending, pre-heating tanks, loading master, manage tankfarm operations
(e.g. tank cleaning), just to name a few.
Being in Penjuru Terminal, being one of the oldest terminals in Singapore, I have
acquired a lot of hands-on experiences, using mostly manual system and also
automation. During my time in Penjuru, I have also loaded more than 1300 iso-
tankers with zero variances. I was awarded the Most Trucking award in 2014 and
2015. I also managed to clinch the Bronze placing for BBS Safety Award in 2015
and Silver placing in 2016.
Reasons for leaving: Looking for a career progression with better working
prospects and professional development.

Airport Emergency Service (AES)
I was based at Changi Airport as a firefighter and rescuer in aviation and
buildings within the vicinity of the airport. My job requires me to deal with Jet A
fuel and other kinds of dangerous goods, be it airborne or on the ground. My job
also provides fire coverage for CAFHI (Changi Airport Fuel Hydrant
Installation).
Reasons for leaving: Looking for better prospects in a new career
June 2010 Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority (ICA)
I was assigned to the busiest land checkpoint in the world. My job required me to
ensure that all goods, people and conveyances entering/leaving Singapore is
lawful and legitimate.

Became the overall assistant in charge of both admin and logistics for
all NSF(s) in Central Fire Station.
