A communications business pushing the boundaries of digital technology, bringing products and services to the market,
changing the landscape as we know it. Great investment has been dedicated to the development of their network capability,
product pipeline, customer engagement and growth of new business opportunities. The online channel will now play a
key role in the servicing of customers and consequently further investment is being dedicated to its development with the
appointment of this role.
The Senior e-Commerce Manager will represent digital mobility activity online, optimising customer acquisition plans and
shaping the go-to-market and launch activity. A key measure of success for you in this role will be the delivery of exceptional
online customer experience, providing clear and compelling reasons to buy online.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and execute the consumer online strategy with key members of the wider consumer online team.
- Deliver the online consumer targets in terms of new sales, channel share and key conversion metrics for the mobile
communication proposition.
- Continual optimisation and improvement of the online customer experience to maximise impact in terms of sales
conversion, whilst ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, reducing call centre rates.
- Reporting and analysis of online performance, providing weekly updates to business stakeholders including volumes,
insights, plans and recommendations.
- Manage projects, end-to-end with partner online agencies from customer journey to wireframe development, creative
execution and technical build.
The role will join a high performance team and business and as such the role requires an online professional demonstrating
commercial acumen alongside the following core experiences:
- Experience within mobile telecommunications sector
- Proven experience of increasing conversion and sales on a high-traffic website - ideally B2C.
- A background in marketing and expertise in eCommerce sales principles and techniques.
- The ability to network and engage with multiple stakeholder groups to articulate your ideas and ensure effective end to end
project management.
