• Encourage evacuation
• Check for stragglers and people lagging behind
• Maintain order through the escape route
• Clear the designated area
• Assemble with group at muster point
• Perform counting of persons

• Encourage people to have tidy work area

17. • Learn the layout of the area you have been assigned or
designated
• Repeat the steps until you are satisfied you know the
locations of rooms and occupied office spaces
• Make a quick walk by of the offices you have over-site
and visually see who is present the day of the drill

the drill process
• Followed by the soundings of all area fire
wardens
• As each fire warden clears their respective areas

individual areas
• Asking people to leave quickly by the nearest fire
exit, not to run.
• Shut all doors behind you and go to designated

• Check time of arriving ( Target - Under 2 minutes)
• Get everyone to stand in rows of 10 (Quicker to
count)
• Record Numbers and Time
• Ask everyone to stay until all clear given
• Senior Person will check numbers and times
