The parents of students are very busy now a days, this school management sys-
tem helps the parents monitor their children from anywhere. They can check their
children's academic performance from a remote location, plus the teacher's can
post specific notes about the student to their parents. They can also deposit the
school fees, bus fees etc., using online secured payment integrated with this ap-
plication.
Using this school management system the users can see the attendance in vari-
ous formats, day-wise, monthly attendance, session or total attendance, depend-
ing on the permissions the user has.

Marks or report card can be viewed or added, report cards generated, merit list,
highest marks etc.

Assignment's & homework' s can be viewed or posted using this application.

This school management system also has an in-built quiz system, which can be
used for hosting online quizzes or tests.

A time table software is also included with this school management system (an
optional utility) which creates time tables for various classes, teachers time tables.
It effectively handles the teachers substitution which is a very gruel some task for
school administrators.

Online leave applications can also be filed by students which gets viewed when
the teachers take the daily attendance

Books, apparels & other essential items can be bought online using the online
shopping cart included with the school management system

School and class notices can also be posted using this application
The School Management System also has a built in forum which develops an online
student teacher community over the net, sharing each others ideas.



MAIN FEATURES OF THE SYSTEM

Notices:
School Notices can be posted by the admin, which can be for whole school or class
specific, visible only to students or class teachers of that specific class.It acts like
the school-notice-board.

Attendance:
Students can view their attendance; parents can also watch their children’s atten-
dance from home.
Class-teachers / data-entry operators can add-students (class-wise) attendance.
While taking the attendance the students leave application is visible if any leave is
filed online by the student.
Detailed Reports on students/class/school attendance.



Time Table
Time tables can be added for classes & teachers.

Assignments
Assignments can be created with the help of a rich-text editor tool or an assignment
file can be uploaded having the assignment. Students can view the list of available
assignments for them & can view or download the assignments.

Thoughts
Thought of the day can be added, the system randomly shows daily the thoughts on
the top-bar of the application.



Report-Cards
This section shows all the results/marks/performance of students. Students can view
their marks/report-card in this section. Admin/Parents can watch students/Childs
performance.

Homework
Homework can be created with the help of a rich-text editor tool or a file can be up-
loaded having the homework. Students can view the list of available homework for
them & can view or download them & complete the homework by the due date.

Exam schedules
Exam schedules can be posted on the system so that students/parents & teachers can
view all the list of exams/tests scheduled. These can be created online on the system
or the list can be uploaded to the server.



Bus/Schedule
This section shows the list of buses available, their routes with maps & bus sched-
ules. A GPRS enabled school-bus tracking system can also be added to this system
for real-time tracking of the school-bus (students/children).
* will be available in future, needs GPRS devices to be installed on the bus.

Holidays
This shows the list of available holidays for the school. Students/Parents/Teachers
can view the holidays.

Message Board
A full-featured message-board/forum is there in the system which enables students,
teachers, principal & parents to create an online community & discuss their views,
thoughts & ideas on various topics. These forums are monitored by the admin. An
abusive language filter is installed which restricts the use of abusive content on the
forums.


Leave Application
Students can file leave application online from home or anyplace. These applica-
tions get visible at the time of taking attendance.

Tutorials/Resources
Tutorials & resources can be added on specific topics to help students broaden
their knowledge & help them in their studies. External links/content of helpful edu-
cational resources can be added

Internal Messaging
An internal messaging system which can be used to send private messages to individual
student/teacher/principal or whole school/class.


Fees
School fees details will be available in this section.
Fees can be easily paid online using credit/debit cards or e-checks through a se-
cured & encrypted payment gateway.

Books
This section has list of all books prescribed or suggested by the school. Students can
also buy books in our online book store using credit/debit cards.



School Dress/Kits
School dress, lab kits, sports kits etc., details will be available & can also be purchased
online.

Students/Teachers/Principal Profiles
Students, teachers & principal can view & update their profiles, photgraphs, contact
numbers, password; so that most current informations are available in school database.


Online Quiz System
This is an add-in package. Using this package online quizzes can be created in which the
students can take part.

Extra Features can be added as required
Some customization’s will be done as per requirement of individual schools such as
report-card, fees sections, etc.
