ANGOSAT-2 is a high throughput satellite for the African market, and Southern Europe.
Optimised for clients operating broadband, data, telecommunications and video services. It
provides high performance Ku-band beams ideal for innovative applications in bandwidth
demanding markets.
ANGOSAT-2 is a project of the Republic of Angolan Space Program, built by ISS RESHETNEV
(Service Platform) and Airbus Defense and Space (Payload), launched on 12/10/2022 and has
two (2) Mission and Control Centers to monitor and manage the satellite.
The GGPEN (National Space Program Management Office) operates the ANGOSAT-2
satellite, simultaneously with the back-up center in Russia and commercialize the capacities to
the national and international markets, where the satellite has coverage.
