The foreign ministers of Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC) met in New York on September 25th to discuss priority issues on the UN agenda, including agreeing on common approaches to global financial issues, the food crisis, climate change, and cooperation within the G8 process. They examined possible joint steps on these topics for upcoming international forums and discussed further developing quadripartite cooperation through scheduled meetings between their countries.
