So… what is Value?
We realized that

     Well…

It depends on YOU!
We decided to do a small
      experiment
The Experiment
                         Facilitate a
                         discussion
                         of the value
Identify a of bread in
  group their lives

             Give them Look at the
               bread value that
                                            that
                                        generated
Each Pin is a Story…
     Experiment

1. Give each person a
   slice out the loaf.
2. Ask them to take a
   photo of the slice of
   bread Each Pin
3. Post the photo on
their favorite social Tells a story
   network along with of what
   the comment, "if i
had a slice of Bread means
   bread for every
   time _______, no
                                                       to the
   person in this world interviewee
   would be hungry."

So… What Value did we
     Create?
1. Emotional and Psychological
              Value
By tweeting and discussing their experiences with bread, people thought more
about their background. Bread is one of the most basic, cheap foods out there.
Thinking about it brings up feelings about upbringing, the simple things that
make us happy, and the material value of our possessions.
2. Brand and Monetary Value
The twitter experiment is something that a company could easily take
advantage of to improve their brand. Through the #myslice hashtag, people can
think about bread and share their life experiences around it. While the
Twittersphere (and Instagram/other social media) gives the users
emotional/psychological value, a company can create value for its brand by
supporting discussions about upbringing and simplicity.

Meanwhile, this company will donate money per tweet/share to a charity that
helps world hunger. Thus, even more value is created.
