Flow control occurs at different levels including between individual nodes, switches, and transport between users.

Jeena and Company was founded in 1920 in Mumbai as the first travel agency in India. It catered to domestic travel needs and later expanded into related services like tickets, hotels, and tours. Travel agencies operate by acting as agents to sell travel products from suppliers like airlines, hotels, and tour operators. They earn commissions ranging from 5-20% depending on the provider. While the internet has threatened travel agencies, they have adapted by creating their own websites and using global distribution systems to remain competitive with online travel agencies.
OTA stands for online travel agency. OTAs sell travel products like flights, hotels, and vacation packages on their websites. They work with global distribution systems and suppliers to provide inventory from airlines and hotels. When a customer books a hotel on an OTA site, the booking is not always instantly confirmed, as OTAs must check availability with partners. Comparison sites search multiple OTA sites at once but do not actually sell or book rooms themselves. OTAs often get better rates than going direct to hotels or airlines since they negotiate bulk deals.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

2. Summary
• Travel services distribution is a billionaire market and fraught with
intermediaries
• Despite selling through indirect distributors is considerably
expensive to Service Providers, it is vital to avoid empty inventory
• (E.g.: empty seats on airplanes and empty rooms in hotels)
• However, small and medium Brazilian Travel Service Providers are
still excluded from modern distribution systems
• Thus, there are huge opportunities for new businesses capable to
include these players in the distribution systems
• There are also similar opportunities for ventures capable to promote
disintermediation in the Travel distribution chain¹
