Job Description:
 The Clinical Customer Service Representative enhances
service excellence at Johns Hopkins Hospital by serving
as a central point of contact and communication for
patients, families, visitors and members of the
healthcare team in patient care units. The CCSR also
provides a broad spectrum of customer support services
to medical, nursing, and administrative staff by
performing a variety of unit specific activities geared to
meet unit, department, and institutional needs.
Minimum Qualifications &
Details:
 (1) HS Diploma or equivalent, one year of college credit
preferred. (2) Minimum of six months experience in
healthcare or office setting. (3) Strong customer service
experience in a high volume work setting (i.e.. call center,
guest services, reception etc. preferred.)
 Hours: 40 hours per week
 Shift: 8 hour, Day (7:00AM-3:30PM). Weekend shifts not
required
 Location: East Baltimore, MD
 Assessment: This position will require the passing of a
reading, math and Microsoft Word test to be considered

 Recent graduate from North Carolina State University
where I earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology
 I will be pursuing my Masters degree in Public Health via
online so that I can maintain a full time work schedule
while I continue to further my education.
 Maintained several full time positions where I have
worked 40+ hours a week while being enrolled as a full
time student
 Background in customer service as a retail associate as
well as experience as a customer care specialist in a
high volume call center, healthcare management, CMS,
HIPPA policies and processing/interpreting
medical/pharmacy claims to members, providers and
pharmacist.
My Strengths:
 Disciplined and goal oriented, I enjoy being in a structured
environment where I can work diligently on each assignment.
Staying on task and structure is important in the workplace, I can
also encourage my fellow coworkers to do the same
 Analytical and always analyzing why people or situations are the
way they are. I enjoy researching things that have a definite
answer and are value free, I work well with sufficient data to back
up my logic and will never stand behind anything that cannot be
supported with documentation.
 Restorative and I love to find solutions to problems which is usually
the primary role of a customer service representative. My success
is the success of the customer and my expertise in problem solving
leads me to the solution that much faster.
 Responsible and Great Communication Skills I have a desire to be
held fully accountable for the success or failure of my projects, I
have an intense dislike for unfinished work, and my need to make
it right if a commitment is not met. I also have the ability to
communicate efficiently even under intense conditions, which was
a primary responsibility in my last position. Both of these strengths
