The Youth Engagement Programme aims to transform youth into agents of change through community service projects, leadership conferences, and BRAC youth clubs. The programme targets upper-middle class high school students to raise awareness of social issues, expose youth to rural poverty challenges, and promote personal growth. Engaging youth is important to reduce the increasing burden of a growing youth population in Bangladesh. The BRAC Youth Department organizes the annual Young Leaders Conference and supports BRAC clubs in schools that implement community service projects.
