Scope of work 

-Provide technical and logistical organisational plan of the summit which includes -
Conceptualising and designing the whole event 

-Implementing the technical and logistical plan of the summit;

-Designing and producing summit’s materials

-Designing and producing summit’s promotional materials

-Managing delegates: including one to one communication with invitees and summit 

delegates, organising transportation to and from the summit, organising delegates’
accommodation, health care coverage, provision of local transportation, attending to
delegates’ individual needs and queries. 

-Designing invitation cards, and inviting delegates to the summit

-Follow up invitations including attaining confirmations of attendance and liaising with
participants.

-Providing media liaising services for the summit including guaranteeing it is well covered
by media (broadcasted and published)

-Design and printing new releases and advertisements ahead of the summit.

-Develop a registration list of invitees who attended the launch

-Selection and booking of the summit venue

-Responsible for preparation and smooth flow of the summit program.

-Responsible for the availability and distribution of the launch materials (Printed-launch
program, printed hand outs of presentations and speeches, launch brochure, media folders
(including all launch materials plus news releases)
-Production of summit DVD

-Preparation production of summit the report Responsible for the set up of a press conference.

Client: The Financial Sector Deepening Trust (FSDT)
Project: Launch and Dissemination of the FinScope Survey 2009 on the demand and barriers to
access financial services in Tanzania



Project Dates: September 2009- 2010
The Financial Sector Deepening Trust (FSDT) was incorporated in Tanzania on 1st July 2004. The
FSDT’s overall aim is to develop a deeper financial system that can provide greater access to
finance of more Tanzanians. Among its secondary objectives are:
Provide funding to support the development of new financial products that address the needs of
poor households and micro and small enterprises.
Support improvements in the policy, legislative and regulatory framework affecting delivery of
services.
Support initiatives aimed at improving financial market integration and access to wholesale forms
of finance by financial service providers addressing poor households and micro and small
enterprises.
Support initiatives aimed at enhancing the supply of appropriate business services to financial
service providers in Tanzania.
Scope of work
-Invite the guests to the FinScope launch. Get and update the list of invitees from the FSDT
-Send out invitation cards to all guests

-Follow up invitations and confirm attendance of guests

-Guarantee the FinScope launch is covered by media (broadcasted and published)

-Design and print the invitation cards, new releases and advertisements ahead of the launch.
-In addition to that he/she will be required to collaborate with the editor to draft the text of the
invitation card, news releases and advertisements announcing the launch.
-Develop a registration list of invitees who attended the launch selection of the launch venue

-Responsible for the smooth flow of the launch program.

-Responsible for the availability and distribution of the launch materials

Scope of work
Deliverables:
-Generate ideas, theme and develop a concept paper for the 25th Anniversary of the Tanzania
Association of Accountants (TAA). We came up with an implementation plan proposing for the
execution of the National Week of Accountants 2009. The week involved four main activities which
were the fundraising dinner, one-day training session for SMEs, Sports Bonanza and TAA’s 25th
Anniversary celebrations
-Undertake fundraising activities geared towards the operationalization of the National Week of
Accountants 2009.The activities involved holding of consultative meetings with potential
contributors; both the public and private sector, organising the fundraising dinner and collecting the
pledges. We managed to raise about Tzs. 61 Million
-Provide media liaising services for both the electronic and print media for three consecutive
months preceding the planned activities for the National Week of Accountants. The campaign
addressed a spectrum of issues related to Good Governance using articles in print media and
interviews in electronic media; radio and television
-Design and develop promotional materials including brochures, posters and flyers for various
institutions; banks, insurance companies, public utility companies, insurance companies, auditing
firms, international organisations and the general public

-Develop an invitees list for the fundraising dinner and the 25th anniversary celebrations for TAA
-Develop audio visual materials for the publicity campaign through radio, television and
newspapers

Develop speeches and press releases for all the planned activities for the National Week of
Accountants
-Work closely with the TAA patron Hon. Mustapha Mkulo, Minister for Finance and Economic
Affairs to ensure the success of the fundraising dinner and TAA’s 25th Anniversary celebrations

Local Investor’s Roundtable Conference Launch for the Kilimo Kwanza Dialogue, Movenpick Royal
Palm Hotel, Dar es Salaam
Local Investor’s Roundtable conference launch for the Kilimo kwanza dialogue. The launch was
organised by TPSF and Tanzania National Business Council (TNBC). It was attended by members
of the private sector, members of the public sector and senior Government officials headed by the
Prime Minister,
Hon. Mizengo Kayanza Peter Pinda.

Amongst other things TPSF used the launch to highlight research findings on to how the
agriculture sector can be revolutionised in Tanzania as recommended by the Agriculture
Empowerment Working Group of the Tanzania National Business Council (TNBC) whose chairman
is the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, HE. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete
Scope of work

For the launch, we were responsible on the following:
-Provide pre and post event media liaising services for both newspapers, radio and television

-Design and develop promotional materials including brochures for institutions and mass
consumption
-Develop an invitees list, send invitations and confirm participation for the launch Source and assist
the client to select and invite the Guest of Honor, Hon. Mizengo Kayanza Peter Pinda, Prime
Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania.

-Managing and monitoring pre and post media coverage of the event
-We were also privileged to have organised and managed other high profile events including


-Un Habitat Week and its apex on the 3rd October 2011-which was a five day festive event,
colourful celebrations and involved multiple activities and
-World Tourism Day on 21/10/2011 at the Karimjee Hall and grounds – with the Ministry of Natural
Resources and Tourism, Dar Es Salaam Regional Commissioner’s Office, Tanzania Private Sector
Foundation (TPSF), Dar es Salaam Tourism Board (DTB), Tourism Confederation of Tanzania
(TCT) and the Dar Es Salaam Municipal Council where the respective Minister, Hon. Ezekiel Maige
