3. CS COURSE is mainly divided into three stages - FOUNDATION ,EXECUTIVE
, and PRPFESSIONAL stage.
Where, to become a CS, passing Executive and Professonal stage is
mandatory, Foundation is optional to few category of candidates.
Each level has its specific Eligibility, Subjects with Difficulty levels and Fees.
Exams are held twice a year, June and December, for every stage.
Pre-Exam Test is introduced for Executive and Professional stage from
2018.
Compulsory Practical Training and MSOP to become a Company Secretory.
Flexible Course, can be simultaniously persued with regular graduations.

4. • THE COMPANIES ACT, 2013 , confers a special status to Company
Secretary as the Key Managerial Personnel and has bracketed him
along with MD or CEO or Manager , Whole-time Directors or CFO.
• For EVERY LISTED COMPANIES and Other Eligible Public and Private
Companies as per THE ACT.
• CS are now also getting apponted in various other departments in an
organization like Finance, Personnel, Corporate Governence, Legal or
Marketting Department, for their Expert Knowledge in the relevent
