Blue Coast Coffee is a coffee shop and cafe located in Shrewsbury, MA owned by Hilary Lane. It has received excellent reviews and ratings, being ranked #1 on both Yelp and Trip Advisor. The shop has a coastal New England theme and aims to provide exceptional quality food and service in a bright, cheerful atmosphere. It has experienced strong sales growth since opening and has potential to expand its offerings in areas like catering and retail sales.
I was assigned to create a business plan from bottom up. I created Primary, A Brunch Restaurant; providing a highly unique atmosphere to indulge in stylized dishes made with local ingredients and a chance to share the experience on social media.
Creating an auction catalog is the first step towards a successful auction fundraiser. This presentation will cover ideas for "making the ask", conceiving the catalog, some item inspiration and more.

• Born and raised in Massachusetts
• Graduated Northeastern University, Bachelor’s Degree in Business and
Entrepreneurship
• Spent the first 5 years after college working at the Staples corporate
headquarters in Framingham doing product & brand management,
marketing & merchandising. She always loved the process of bringing
new products to market including figuring out what consumers want.
• Hard-working, self-taught, independent individual – loves a challenge
• Blue Coast Coffee was born after years of owner Hilary’s frustration
with her inability to get great coffee AND great food under the same
roof.

heavy furniture, indie music & hipster
Baristas… Hilary wanted a bright, airy,
cheerful atmosphere with upbeat music and
genuinely friendly, energetic servers.
5. • Our coastal theme is inspired by the New England coast and
currently allows landlocked Massachusetts residents to ‘escape’ any
time to a bright, relaxed, beachy atmosphere reminiscent of a
coffee shop you might expect to find on the coast.
• Our decor brings the much beloved New England coastal feel
inside our shop and we feature design elements such as cedar
shingles on interior walls hung with colorful lobster buoys, bright
vivid coastal photography, clam baskets full of shells, and even faux
hydrangeas on the tables.
