- 4. Message from RozRubin, CEO • Good Morning! • 45 YEARS--that’s a lot of pancakes! It’s also a lot of history of this GWArc event, originally known as “Pancake Harvest”. There are guests here today who remember picking up the food donations, mixing the orange juice, hauling in the rental pancake grills and much more, to make the original event an all-day success. Here we are in the Embassy Suites, our host, with no cooking or serving to do….what a change and what a pleasure! We hope you will enjoy the day and bid high on Silent Auction items, purchase some gift items at the Holiday Boo-tique and have fun with the entertainment being provided. Message from Boardof Directors President, John Peacock Welcome to GWArc’s Annual Harvest Breakfast, and a special one at that….we are honored to have you here to support the agency’s efforts with this enjoyable 45th year of a community event. The Board of Directors join me in thanking you for attending and supporting our agency. The money raised today and in other fund raising events is much needed to supplement GWArc’s programs – offering additional purchases of adaptive equipment, more experts for in music and art activities for our participants and additional staff training, to name a few. We recognize the support of community sponsors and donors and you, the guests here today. One of the September conferences was the Abilities Expo that took place at the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center and lasted for 3 days. - 126. Ciao Down 2015was a great success! What an evening! Pictured at left is the silent auction table at the 6th Annual “Ciao Down for GWArc” on May 1st at Embassy Suites, Waltham. The successful event featured a silent auction, raffle, sale of Mystery Gifts, BARK@GWArc dog biscuits, musical entertainment and a spaghetti buffet for over 300 persons.
