This document analyzes Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) data to help with discharge program planning. Weekly MEWS data is evaluated for changes and further evaluation will be done after discharge planning changes. The analysis calculates the maximum MEWS score per patient and the mortality rate associated with each MEWS score, finding that higher MEWS scores predict higher likelihood of death within 48 hours.
