 Blogs are usually maintained by an individual with
regular entries of commentary, descriptions of event,
or other materials such as graphic or video.
 Entries are common displayed in reverse chronological
order.
 Most Blogs are interactive , allowing visitors to leave
comments and even message each other via widgets on
the blogs and it is this interactivity that distinguishes
them from other static websites.
 A typical blogs combine text, images , videos and links
to other search engines.
Types Of Blogs :
 Personal Blog: The personal blog , an ongoing diary or
commentary by an individual, is the traditional, most common
blog.
 Corporate Blog: A blog can be private , as in most cases, or it can
be for business purposes.
 Question Blogging: Is a type of blog that answers questions.
 By Media Type : A blog comprising videos is called a video blog,
one comprising links is called a link log, a site containing
sketches is called a sketch blog or one comprising photos is
called a photo blog.
 By Genre: Some blogs focus on a particular subject such as
political blogs, travel blogs, fashion blogs, project blogs,
education blogs, classical music blogs, quizzing blogs.

 Stick with only a few specific genres to talk about.
 Don’t put ‘subscribe’ and ‘vote me’ links all over the
front page until you have people that like your blog
