Technology
A. Complete the definitions with the correct word.

5. Like: To give a favourable opinion of something on Facebook.

7. Text: To send someone an SMS.
8. Cyberbully: An Internet user who uses aggressive behaviour to
intimidate other Internet users.
9. Trending: A subject which everyone is talking about on social
networking sites.
10. Unfriend: To remove someone from your list of friends on Facebook.

12. Tag : To put someone’s name on a photo on Facebook.
13. C iberoom : A virtual room where Internet users talk to each other.

1. Omnishambles: A situation that has been comprehensively mismanaged,
characterized by a string of blunders and miscalculations.
2. Games Maker: A volunteer responsible for helping the public at an
Olympic venue during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

3. Medal: To win a medal in a sporting event or competition by finishing
first, second, or third.
4. Second Screening: the practice or activity of watching television while
simultaneously using a smartphone, tablet computer, laptop, or other

5. Mobot: A characteristic gesture as performed by the British long-distance
runner Mo Farah on winning the 5,000 and 10,000 metres events at the
2012 Olympics, in which both arms are arched above the head with the
hands pointing down to the top of the head to form a distinctive ’M’
shape.
6. Yolo: ‘You only live once’, typically used as a rationale or endorsement
for impulsive or irresponsible behaviour.
