This document discusses integrating music and literacy with technology. It argues that music and reading have parallels that help develop cognitive skills for literacy. The author's philosophy is that how teachers teach is important for student development. Technology integration allows students to explore music and literacy innovatively and engage with today's world. Examples are given of technology integration projects at Central School, from initial experimentation to using technology for new activities like songwriting, audiobooks, and podcasts. Small initial steps are recommended to start integration, with celebration of successes.
