This document outlines a 5-module Blackboard training for John Brown University instructors, especially adjunct faculty teaching online. The training covers best practices for course design in Blackboard, adding content, creating and grading assignments, using the grade center, and a case study. Upon completing the training, instructors should be able to navigate Blackboard, add content, create assignments, and use the grade center. The online training can be accessed anytime and from anywhere, and provides continuous training opportunities to help instructors feel comfortable using Blackboard.
