This document provides information about the Cardinal Race for Courage 5K run/walk event to raise money for the college education of Craig Charron's three children. Craig Charron was a member of the Rochester Americans Hall of Fame and a leader in the Rochester hockey community who recently passed away from stomach cancer. The race will be held on November 7, 2010 at St. John Fisher College and includes a 5K run, 2K walk, snacks and entertainment after the race. Registration information and options for donating are provided.

Craig Charron, a member of the Rochester
Americans’ Hall of Fame and significant
presence in the Rochester hockey community
was recently diagnosed with stomach cancer.
Unfortunately it was discovered too late to
perform surgery and he passed away October
20th, 2010.
The Cardinal Race for Courage will take
place on November 7th, 2010 going toward a

children’s college education.
The race will be held at St. John Fisher Proudly sponsored by…
College. Registration will be held in the SLC
Campus Center and race staring line will be
in the park-and-ride parking lot right off the
490 highway. The race is a 5K run (3.1
miles) or 2K walk (1.2 miles) through the St.
John Fisher campus.
The race will begin at 10:00 am and the
majority of it will be outlined with safety
cones and volunteers along the way.
