7. PHOTOSYNTESIS
is a process of taking inroganic material to make
new organic matter through the combining of
carbon dioxide and water using solar energy.
8. THIS PROCESS ONLY OCCURS IN GREEN
PLANTS, BLUE-GREEN ALGAE, AND CERTAIN
BACTERIA.
9. DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE PROCESS
PHOTOSYNTESIS :
• what allows the plants to make their own food
• allows the chlorophyll inside each leaf to capture
energy.
• The captured energy is used to build carbohydrates
from simple raw materials. (water, carbon dioxide
and minerals) These carbohydrates, also known as
sugar, are the plants food.
• The plant uses some of the sugar, but also stores
some.
10. ADVANCED :
• Photosynthesis also needs the following raw
materials to function: carbon, oxygen and
hydrogen.
• Animals breath out carbon dioxide, so this gives the
plants oxygen and carbon.
• Plants receive the hydrogen through water.
• The materials enter the plant either at the roots or
the leaves.
13. Grains / pollen on the stigma attached
Reed powder form ( 2 core , the
vegetative nucleus and generative
nucleus ) runs toward the micropyle (
doors bladder institutions )
Generative nucleus divides
2 Sperm nuclei
Reach the micropyle
14. Dead vegetative nucleus
One sperm fertilizes the egg
nucleus
Embryos
The other sperm nucleus
fertilizes the endosperm nucleus
Bladder agencies ( food reserve
for the embryo ) .
15. Because fertilization takes place two times then
fertilization on Angiospermae called double
fertilization .
