Fraunhofer – SINTEF: towards an initiative on Data Sovereignty in EuropeThorsten Huelsmann
Fraunhofer and SINTEF jointed Industrial Data Space Association in early 2016. Industrial Data Space stands for safer data exchange between companies where the producer of data remains the owner of the data and maintains sovereignty over the use of that data.
IDS Association aims to define the conditions and governance for a reference architecture and interfaces aiming at international standards.
This standard is actively developed and updated on the basis of use cases. It forms the basis for a number of certified software solutions and business models, the development of which is fostered by the association.
Thorsten Huelsmann and Ernst H. Kristiansen talked on this topic during the German-Norwegian Dialogue on Bilateral and
European Cooperation , September 29 2016 at Berlin.
digital production and the 4th industrial revolutionRoberto Siagri
The essence of the forth industrial revolution is around the creation of unstructured data. In order to take the maximum advantage you need a agnostic data collection platform that decouples data from producers and users.
We’re in the midst of a significant transformation regarding the way we produce products thanks to the digitization of manufacturing. This compelling transition is called Industry 4.0 – which is a representation of the fourth revolution that has occurred in manufacturing. Like the three industrial revolutions which preceded it – steam power, mass production/electricity, digital age – Industry 4.0 will transform local and global economies and create a new future for us all.
Industry 4.0: from Factory to Smactory
It is August the 18th of 2014 when a German government official press ‘post’ on an update called: "Zukunftsprojekt Industrie 4.0”, not knowing that this Industry number will complete transform the way we traditionally did business. Where business transformation in prior times mostly affected individual entities of businesses, this transformation affects the whole business eco-system. The announcement, posted on the “Bundesministerium fur Bildung und Forschung ” or, in English, the:”Federal ministry of education and Research” quoted the following key message:
“The future project Industry 4.0 aims to enable the German industry in a position to be ready for the future of production. Industrial production will be characterized by strong personalization of products under the conditions of high flexibilised (high-volume) production, the extensive integration of customers and business partners in business and value creation processes and the coupling of production and quality services.”
Industry 4.0, where disruption meets the manufacturing industry
According the Cambridge Online Dictionary is revolution something that is: ‘a very important change in the way that people do things’ or ‘one complete circular movement of something’. That Industry 4.0 is a industrial revolution is an understatement. Industry 4.0 is a big disruption in the economy & the way we (will) do business in the future. Before deep dive directly into Industry 4.0 let us have a closer look to the road towards it...
The Industrial Internet of Things has well and truly arrived, with manufacturers around the world having access to a vast assortment of smart machines with clever app features for tailoring their functionality perfectly to their needs. But where to start? To really kick off the connected, app-driven, and smarter industry of tomorrow, end users need an app marketplace that they trust and know how to use, with apps that they know will work on their equipment, and everything with confidence in legal, commercial, technical and – not least – security terms. The Open Industry 4.0 Alliance, Hilscher, and Wibu-Systems have come together to showcase how this can be done with the OI4 Community App Store, Docker containers for interoperability, and CodeMeter for safe operations and secure intellectual property.
Today, the world of industrial applications is very diverse and forms a complex ecosystem that entails a multitude of technical requirements. Due to the current complexity of the brownfield environment, a broad acceptance of existing applications and their ease of use are bogged down, if not made even impossible.
The overarching goal is to place the user experience first and foremost so that end users can move to the ecosystem of their choosing, without being permanently tied to a particular infrastructure. Wider choice, more flexibility in deployment, and rapid response to changes are the direct results of these greater freedoms.
As we all know, digitization is now in full swing. Triple-digit billions are being invested in this sector, with everyone, regardless of their role in the value chain, expecting increased productivity and shorter delivery and setup times. The end game: improved inventory management, shorter market entry cycles, reduced batch sizes, and sustainability in the form of energy efficiency and optimization of the resources utilized.
The Open Industry 4.0 Alliance (OI4) gathers manufacturers and providers of Industry 4.0 solutions and services worldwide aimed at successfully transitioning customers to the Industrial Internet of Things. The group has developed a joint approach with all its members to reach tangible results on the path towards a complete digitization of the manufacturing industry.
Three main stakeholders come into play:
1. The application providers, who bundle their expertise in professional apps and make them available to a broad market;
2. The store operators, who provide the end users with a large number of applications and map legal, commercial, and technical aspects in their systems;
3. The end users, who don’t want to deal with the complexity of different store systems and expect trustworthy platforms.
Hilscher, a name that has stood for trendsetting automation solutions for over 35 years, and Wibu-Systems, a global leader in software monetization via protection, licensing, and security, are members of OI4 and ready to demonstrate this constructive attitude during this live masterclass.
Enabling the Industry 4.0 vision: Hype? Real Opportunity!Boris Otto

For companies, data is only worthwhile if it can be processed. At the same time, a new, comprehensive and generally accepted handling practice has to be anchored in the way data is utilized.
Industrial Data Space is a virtual data space which supports the secure exchange and simple linking of data in business ecosystems on the basis of standards and by using collaborative governance models.
Data is only exchanged if it is requested from trustworthy certified partners. The data owner – i.e. the company – determines who is allowed to use the data in what way. As a result, the partners of one supply chain have joint access to certain data by mutual consent so that they can start something new, develop new business models, design their own processes more efficiently or initiate additional added value processes elsewhere, either alone or together.

Right now the only way to sell pi coins is by trading with a verified merchant.
What is a pi merchant?
A pi merchant is someone verified by pi network team and allowed to barter pi coins for goods and services.
Since pi network is not doing any pre-sale The only way exchanges like binance/huobi or crypto whales can get pi is by buying from miners. And a merchant stands in between the exchanges and the miners.

Financial Assets: Debit vs Equity Securities.pptxWrito-Finance
financial assets represent claim for future benefit or cash. Financial assets are formed by establishing contracts between participants. These financial assets are used for collection of huge amounts of money for business purposes.
Two major Types: Debt Securities and Equity Securities.
Debt Securities are Also known as fixed-income securities or instruments. The type of assets is formed by establishing contracts between investor and issuer of the asset.
• The first type of Debit securities is BONDS. Bonds are issued by corporations and government (both local and national government).
• The second important type of Debit security is NOTES. Apart from similarities associated with notes and bonds, notes have shorter term maturity.
• The 3rd important type of Debit security is TRESURY BILLS. These securities have short-term ranging from three months, six months, and one year. Issuer of such securities are governments.
• Above discussed debit securities are mostly issued by governments and corporations. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS CDs are issued by Banks and Financial Institutions. Risk factor associated with CDs gets reduced when issued by reputable institutions or Banks.
Following are the risk attached with debt securities: Credit risk, interest rate risk and currency risk
There are no fixed maturity dates in such securities, and asset’s value is determined by company’s performance. There are two major types of equity securities: common stock and preferred stock.
Common Stock: These are simple equity securities and bear no complexities which the preferred stock bears. Holders of such securities or instrument have the voting rights when it comes to select the company’s board of director or the business decisions to be made.
Preferred Stock: Preferred stocks are sometime referred to as hybrid securities, because it contains elements of both debit security and equity security. Preferred stock confers ownership rights to security holder that is why it is equity instrument
Equity securities as a whole is used for capital funding for companies. Companies have multiple expenses to cover. Potential growth of company is required in competitive market. So, these securities are used for capital generation, and then uses it for company’s growth.
Concluding remarks
Both are employed in business. Businesses are often established through debit securities, then what is the need for equity securities. Companies have to cover multiple expenses and expansion of business. They can also use equity instruments for repayment of debits. So, there are multiple uses for securities. As an investor, you need tools for analysis. Investment decisions are made by carefully analyzing the market. For better analysis of the stock market, investors often employ financial analysis of companies.

Introduction to Indian Financial System ()Avanish Goel
The financial system of a country is an important tool for economic development of the country, as it helps in creation of wealth by linking savings with investments.
It facilitates the flow of funds form the households (savers) to business firms (investors) to aid in wealth creation and development of both the parties
US Economic Outlook - Being Decided - M Capital Group August 2021.pdfpchutichetpong
The U.S. economy is continuing its impressive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and not slowing down despite re-occurring bumps. The U.S. savings rate reached its highest ever recorded level at 34% in April 2020 and Americans seem ready to spend. The sectors that had been hurt the most by the pandemic specifically reduced consumer spending, like retail, leisure, hospitality, and travel, are now experiencing massive growth in revenue and job openings.
Could this growth lead to a “Roaring Twenties”? As quickly as the U.S. economy contracted, experiencing a 9.1% drop in economic output relative to the business cycle in Q2 2020, the largest in recorded history, it has rebounded beyond expectations. This surprising growth seems to be fueled by the U.S. government’s aggressive fiscal and monetary policies, and an increase in consumer spending as mobility restrictions are lifted. Unemployment rates between June 2020 and June 2021 decreased by 5.2%, while the demand for labor is increasing, coupled with increasing wages to incentivize Americans to rejoin the labor force. Schools and businesses are expected to fully reopen soon. In parallel, vaccination rates across the country and the world continue to rise, with full vaccination rates of 50% and 14.8% respectively.
However, it is not completely smooth sailing from here. According to M Capital Group, the main risks that threaten the continued growth of the U.S. economy are inflation, unsettled trade relations, and another wave of Covid-19 mutations that could shut down the world again. Have we learned from the past year of COVID-19 and adapted our economy accordingly?
“In order for the U.S. economy to continue growing, whether there is another wave or not, the U.S. needs to focus on diversifying supply chains, supporting business investment, and maintaining consumer spending,” says Grace Feeley, a research analyst at M Capital Group.
While the economic indicators are positive, the risks are coming closer to manifesting and threatening such growth. The new variants spreading throughout the world, Delta, Lambda, and Gamma, are vaccine-resistant and muddy the predictions made about the economy and health of the country. These variants bring back the feeling of uncertainty that has wreaked havoc not only on the stock market but the mindset of people around the world. MCG provides unique insight on how to mitigate these risks to possibly ensure a bright economic future.
how to sell pi coins in South Korea profitably.DOT TECH
Yes. You can sell your pi network coins in South Korea or any other country, by finding a verified pi merchant
What is a verified pi merchant?
Since pi network is not launched yet on any exchange, the only way you can sell pi coins is by selling to a verified pi merchant, and this is because pi network is not launched yet on any exchange and no pre-sale or ico offerings Is done on pi.
Since there is no pre-sale, the only way exchanges can get pi is by buying from miners. So a pi merchant facilitates these transactions by acting as a bridge for both transactions.
