Vietnamese food is very popular due to its fresh and healthy ingredients as well as delicious flavors. It relies on rice, wheat and legumes along with an abundance of fresh herbs and vegetables, using little oil. Dishes like pho contain many fresh ingredients like vegetables, herbs, ginger and aromatics to make the soup flavorful. Vietnamese food uses fresh seasonal vegetables, herbs and spices to make dishes tasty and colorful. When banning motorbikes, cities need flexible alternative transportation options like public buses and encouraging walking and cycling. Developing public transportation, walking and cycling takes time, so a methodical long term plan is needed to prepare infrastructure and encourage people to switch from private to public transportation.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

1. Câu 1:
Vietnamese food is very popular around the world, as well-known as Vietnam is the center
of Southeast Asia food but they are more depending on rice, wheat, and legume, the
abundance of fresh herbs, and fresh vegetables, using a little amount of oil to cook food at
least to feel the treatment of food as the condiments. Vietnamese food must be one of the
healthiest foods in the world, based on my 3 years of experience; here is my personal point
of view about why Vietnamese food is excellent.
Firstly, it is delicious! No delicious food is complete without fresh ingredients but there are
available all over the years in Vietnam because of the tropical weather that they can grow
vegetables in any season. The most important to make palatable food you have to make
sure that all the ingredients which you are going to cook your dishes are still fresh.
Furthermore, the food is rich in use diet fresh vegetables, herbs, spices, and aromatics as a
favor. It has been said that the best and most prominent feature of Vietnamese food is the
exquisite, tasteful, colorful, flavorful, and full of fresh herbs as known as aromatics herbs.
For example Pho (Noodle soup), Pho is one of the most popular Vietnamese food. It is a
traditional food, normally served with beef (pho bo) or chicken (pho ga). The soup
contained very fresh ingredients more than you can imagine, such as vegetables, herbs,
onion, and ginger to make the soup more flavorful. Additionally, before they serve you
they also add some cilantro, chives, and bean sprouts. The seller provides you with a dish
of extra vegetables on the table such as salad, basil, mint leaves, lime, and chilies which
could be added to the noodle by the person who is dining.
Câu 2:
Yes, I agree with this decision.
Cause Hanoi needs to be flexible with solutions for people to choose to switch vehicles,
not just stating the policy of banning motorbikes. In addition, Hanoi needs to diversify
small public transport such as buses 9, 12, 15 seats suitable for narrow streets; encourage
the use of bicycles, short walking distances, in parallel with the city must arrange separate
lanes for cyclists, keep sidewalks for pedestrians... The sidewalk system can be seen Even
the walking space has many intermittent inadequacies, not safe, not clean, lack of trees,
poor lighting... so the percentage of people walking is very low, less than 1%, while in
many urban areas above In the world, the percentage of walking trips can be as high as
20% or more of total travel demand.
Experience in some countries when banning people from using motorbikes, these countries
have focused on developing public transport, developing non-motorized transport, bicycle
and walking. Along with providing people with many choices, governments of countries
use economic tools to manage and communicate to propagate, mobilize, and orient people
to choose the appropriate mode of transport. best for your trip.
In order for the capital's motorbike ban to become a reality and feasible, in the next few
years, Hanoi may not be eligible to implement it, but from 7-10 years, it will definitely
2. have to be drastic. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a methodical plan, invest with focus
from now on, public transport is better than using cars in particular and personal vehicles
in general. At that time, people will switch from private vehicles to public transport by
themselves.
Only a few countries and regions ban motorbikes such as Beijing (China), Myanmar. But
when banned, people are very miserable in travel problems. Hanoi needs to carefully study
lessons from other countries based on the actual traffic situation in the capital to come up
with appropriate solutions.
