It’s 1998 and a fresh new girl group by the name of destiny’s child release
their first studio album, and for the next 7 years this girl band would go to sell
over 50 million records, land 4 billboard number one hits and become an
iconic girl group that inspires and motivates women around the world.
And every band has its star, and destiny’s child’s star was none other than
one of the biggest names in music. Beyoncé, a woman so iconic we
remember her by just one simple rhythm
Now its 2003 and Beyoncé decides to release her first solo studio album and
you would think with all of destiny’s child success Beyoncé would have
proven herself right, wrong
As she state that after playing her record to her label they told her I’m sorry
Beyoncé but I don’t here one hit single,
Crazy in love Me myself and I, baby boy naughty girl dangerously in love and
they told her ‘I’m sorry Beyoncé I don’t hear one hit single, I guess they were
right, she had five.
Over the next 10 years Beyoncé would continue to build an empire and
single handily dominate the music industry by storm, by creating an original
and symbolic look that now defines a modern day diva, building a
respectable reputation within the industry with her equally legendary
husband, break records and racial barriers in the industry and then some,
and let’s not forget that legendary walk
My vision is to create a music video that follows the trail of successful
beyonce music videos, like crazy inlove, single ladies, run the world girls,
especially single ladiesasitspawned a dance craze and inspired thousands of
imitations all over the world and was parodied by other stars such as joe
Jonas, Justin Timberlake and was featured in hit TV show glee, when it was still
a hit of course,
these are all legendary music videos that have and will continue to
challenge and inspire the industry and the world of dance, everything that
Beyoncé touches or puts her name on seems to turn to gold, which Is why
creating a music video to a Beyoncé song, cause whether it will create buzz,
it will draw interest you want prove that Beyoncé music videos are
memorable and epic,

Target Audience:
Teenagers and young adults aged 15-24
As this age range is known to have the most interest in new/commercial and
chart music and music videos
Due to the fact that the song and artist is Beyoncé (a worldwide female role
model, who makes music to empower and inspire females), the intended
gender of my target audience was mainly female,
After research the backlash this song received from Beyoncé’s typical female
audience, the controversy has managed to draw in both genders.

Looking at the demographic, social class varies from C1 to E as my music
video consists of street/youth-oriented references (scenery, costume,
narrative) that middle class and lower class individuals understand and
appreciate
Again because Beyoncé is such a commercially successful artist putting her
