KeyLime Interactive conducted a review of the mobile websites and apps of 8 major auto insurance companies. They surveyed 500 participants to understand which features were most important. GEICO, USAA, and State Farm performed the best overall. The top 10 most important capabilities according to consumers were the ability to login securely, access roadside services, track claims status, contact customer service, and more. The survey also provided other insights such as 39% feeling it is important for insurers to offer mobile apps and preferences for receiving insurance quotes.
