8. MBS (TU) Admission Process
Qualification
• Students who hold a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree from Tribhuvan University or any
university accredited by Tribhuvan University.
• Students who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Tribhuvan University or a university
recognized by Tribhuvan University, regardless of their academic background or field of study.
Entrance Exam
• The Faculty of Management Examination Controller Division (FOMECD) conducts the CMAT exam
for MBS which carry a total of 100 marks, 40 pass marks and have a duration of 90 minutes.
• A total of 100 questions are included in the exam. Various subjects are covered, with each
contributing 20 marks: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, General
Knowledge, Business, and Economics.
• Following the exam, a merit list is published based on candidates’ performance, ensuring fairness
and transparency in the selection process for admission to the MBS program.

9. Eligibility Criteria
• The students who are willing to join the KMC MBS program are destined to go through a fair and
thorough process. The eligibility criteria to be part of KMC, and MBS is plain and simple.
• Should be passed the BBS or bachelor’s level in any discipline.
• You should be able to clear the CMAT exam as advised by the University.
• The last criterion is successfully clearing the interview round in order to be valid for the student
list of MBS.
