Benjamin Bear spent the weekend with Max. On Saturday they went to the library together and chose a story. On Sunday morning they attended church with Max's mother, where they did some coloring. After church, Max took Benjamin to his grandparents' house, where Benjamin received a cuddle from Grandad Gonzo. On Sunday afternoon, Max and Benjamin had fun at a school fun day, playing games and meeting people. Max won a remote controlled submarine at the tombola. They finished their afternoon with cake and tea.

Our school is located near the city center and is a new, large building that teaches 435 pupils aged 3 to 12 across 28 teachers. It has facilities like a forest with a vegetable garden, slides, and sports courts as well as a library, kitchen, gym, and football/basketball pitches. The school day runs from 9am to noon for kindergarten and until 1pm for primary students, and extracurricular activities after include sports, drama, singing, and camps while subjects include Catalan, math, art, and languages.

This year, I spent my holydays here, in Valladolid. At Christmas Eve, I went to my grandparents’ house on my father’s side where we had dinner and talked about Christmas plans. On Christmas Day, presents were waiting at my grandparents’ house. On New Years Eve, we ate grapes at midnight at my grandfather's house on my mother's side, then my sister went to a party. On Three Kings Day, we spent the day at my uncles' house with cousins, including a new baby cousin. We opened presents the next day, and my family came to my house for a meal. It was a good Christmas.

My family celebrates Christmas Eve by going to my cousins' and aunts' houses, then going out to eat. We often go to Fridays, where my favorite thing to eat is chicken fingers. In the evening we take a nap, then watch TV and cartoons or a movie. At my cousin's house we order pizza and decorate the Christmas tree.

Benjamin bear’s weekend with max
- 1. Benjamin Bear’s Weekend with Max
- 2. On Saturday we went to the library in Pontesbury. Me and Max choosing a story.
- 3. On Sunday morning we went to church with Max’s mummy. Me and Max did some colouring. At Shelve church. At Minsterley church, with Andrew.
- 4. After church Max took me to his Nanny & Gonzo’s house and I had a cuddle with Gonzo – who turns out to be RevdToop who baptised me! Gonzo is Max and James’ special name for their Grandad.
- 5. Max won a great prize on the tombola! A remote controlled submarine – cool. On Sunday afternoon we had LOTS and LOTS of fun at the school fun day!
- 6. We met some funny people at the fun day… … and played some funny games! I was a bit worried about Hook a Teddy to begin with, but they didn’t mean me so that was ok!
- 7. We finished off our afternoon with a lovely slice of cake and a cup of tea. Perfect! Can I come next year Max?
