Beth recounts her family's holiday in Temuka for her cousin Jada's first birthday party. They packed their bags and drove to Beth's grandparents house near her cousin's house. For lunch they had mince, vegetables and potatoes. When they arrived at the birthday party, there was pink decorations everywhere to match the pink theme. Pink cupcakes, candy floss and a large pink chocolate cake were set out for the party.

in Temuka
It was half past nine on a Thursday morning and a letter
arrived in the mail. “Dear Shaun, Megan, Beth and Lexi
you are invited to Jada Kates 1st birthday party see
you soon Greg, Megan and Jada.

3. The big trip.
The big day had came, the day my youngest
cousin turned one. So we packed our bags and
were out the door by quarter to ten. My
grandparents house is just down the road from
my cousins house so we went there first. For
lunch we had mince, vegetables and potatos.

4. The birthday party! part1
• When we got there, there was pink everywhere.
[After all the theme was pink.] All of my family
were there and there was even a bouncy castle. On
the table lay pink cupcakes, pink candy floss and
last but not least a gigantic chocolate cake
completely covered in pink icing!!!
