Marcos describes how his family celebrates Easter in Britain over a two week holiday. They go to church on Easter Saturday and Sunday. On Easter Sunday there is sometimes a parade or egg rolling competition. Marcos makes Easter cards and buys eggs for his parents. His mother hides chocolate eggs in the garden for an egg hunt.

2. Hi, I´m Marcos. My school Easter holiday is about two weeks long. Good Friday Easter Saturday , Sunday and Monday. Easter holiday

3. We get up late and eat hot cross buns for breakfast. On Good Friday

4. I make Easter cards for mum and Dad, I go the shops and buy easter eggs for my parents too. On Easter Saturday

5. We go to church in the monning. Then we give our eggs and cards. If friend or family visit, we have an Easter egg hunt. Mum hides chocolate eggs in the garden. If you find an egg , you can eat it! On Easter Sunday

6. We go to town. Sometimes there´s an Easter parade and sometimes there´s an egg- rolling competition. Before we go, I either make an Easter bonnet or I decorate eggs . Mum helps me! I wear the bonnet at the parade or I roll my decorated eggs in the competion On Easter Monday

7. Me levanto tarde y desayuno los pastelitos de Pascua. Viernes Santo

8. Hacemos cartas de pascua para papá y mamá. Vamos a comprar los huevos de pascua . Sábado de Pascua

9. Vamos a la iglesia por la mañana . Le doy unos huevos y cartas. Si mis amigos visitan a mi familia comienza la captura de huevos. Domingo de Pascua

10. Vamos a la ciudad. A veces vamos a al desfile y a veces hay una competición de huevos. Cogemos el sombrero de pascua y empezamos la competición de huevos. En Lunes Santo
