BENGALI YOUTH
INSIGHT OF SOCIETY
INTRODUCTION
Youth is the time of life when one is young, and often means the time
between childhood and adulthood (maturity). It is also defined as "the
appearance, freshness, vigor, spirit, etc., characteristic of one who is
young". Its definitions of a specific age range vary, as youth is not defined
chronologically as a stage that can be tied to specific age ranges; nor can
its end point be linked to specific activities, such as taking unpaid work or
having sexual relations.
BENGALI YOUTH INSIGHT OF SOCIETY
In Bangladesh, around 18-35 individuals are considered a youth, according to
national youth policy 217(NYP). They are more than 32 million adolescents in
Bangladesh which is twenty-one percent amount of the total population. This
huge population is closely related to the country and they are the backbone
of a nation.
1. This potential youth can not set up their mind at the growing time of adolescents.
2.Society and parents can not play a proper role in the carrier guideline
3.can not play a supporting role in fulfilling the goal of the youth because lack of socioeconomic
development, perspective change, and psychological change.
4.Our guidelines in our society can't understand us to push ourselves and do not imply the
importance of self-reliance and self-identity.
5.They imply the importance of academic results, not knowledge, not skills, not work efficiency
after 80 to 85 percent of the time in our lives spent in neglect, we have to realize the
importance of growing up.
6.When we reach around 20 to 24 years of age even then they are considered younger
nonetheless they are crossing the youth range according to the US, UK, Canada, Turkey, and
Poland.
7.we have no work opportunity, no skill development opportunity from any multinational company
and government, NGO, etc.
PROBLEM
If we look at the definition of youth and the limit of age in developed countries, it can be seen that
there is a lot of gap in Bangladesh, where the definition of youth and gap in age .what else we can
think or what can we expect? Some youth ranges are given as follows.
US-15 to 24 year
UK-13 to 29 year
Canada-15 to 29 year
T
urkey-14 to 29 year
Poland-15 to 25 year
India-15 to 29 year
BangladeSh-18 to 35 year
COMPARE WITH OTHERS COUNTRY
1.Yet the year 1952 significant one in our history of Bengali youth. Pakistan
government wanted to impose their language on Bengalis in 1952 however
they demand that Bangla be made one of the state languages.
2. we have a brave youth contribution history of 1971 where the millions of
youth consider their life for Bangladesh.
3.Safe road movement 2019
the last month reported that Bangladesh among is the third world's top
countries with the fastest millionaire population growing countries. Even outside
Bangladesh, youths have played monumental roles in different issues. Our
government failed to invest properly in general
YOUTH CONTRIBUTION
In some countries, youth work is an established and to a large extent
professionalized part of both the educational and social welfare system. In other
countries, youth work develops relatively separately from these systems and is a
practice carried out by volunteers. In most countries, youth work is a mix of all
these interventions. In any case, youth work also today has to find its place,
positioning itself concerning family and school (as a central part of the so-called
third socialization environment), but also positioning itself in between adult
concerns and young people's needs and desires. History is a rich mirror to reflect
on our actual and future policies and practices. But in Bangladesh, we are
observing a different environment of the lackings of government and
unconsciousness of guardians.
