本書敘述一位名叫彼得羅（Pedro）的男孩與外星人結交為友的故事。這是一本為兒童和那些保有赤子之心的成人所寫的書，因為他們心中擁有高雅的理想、夢想及愛力，所以能感受到地球及其他世界許多美好的事物。因此這本書引發不同年齡層、不同國度的孩子產生共鳴，他們居住在這片美麗的地球家園，將是未來的主人翁與建設四海一家新世界的主角。
本書作者藉著回溯自己童年的經歷，敘述書中主角和外星人之間的故事，傳達給讀者有關內在冥想、和平與靈性提昇的訊息，以及對宇宙法則的了解。這些觀點與清海無上師的教理有很多契合之處。

智利作家安立奎．巴里奧斯（Enrique Barrios）所寫的《阿米：星星的小孩》於1986年出版後，即在西班牙語系國家一炮而紅。這本書被翻譯成多國語言，並獲得數國教育界人士及不同宗派領袖的支持，其中包括前教宗若望保祿二世。
本書敘述一位名叫彼得羅（Pedro）的男孩與外星人結交為友的故事。這是一本為兒童和那些保有赤子之心的成人所寫的書，因為他們心中擁有高雅的理想、夢想及愛力，所以能感受到地球及其他世界許多美好的事物。因此這本書引發不同年齡層、不同國度的孩子產生共鳴，他們居住在這片美麗的地球家園，將是未來的主人翁與建設四海一家新世界的主角。
本書作者藉著回溯自己童年的經歷，敘述書中主角和外星人之間的故事，傳達給讀者有關內在冥想、和平與靈性提昇的訊息，以及對宇宙法則的了解。這些觀點與清海無上師的教理有很多契合之處。
比方說，作者不僅生動地敘述外星人來訪的情況，揭開宇宙神祕的面紗，傳達星際間的兄弟情誼與黃金時代等訊息，同時也談到其他星球的眾生對素食的看法、對上帝的信仰、他們的靜坐修行，以及宇宙中所有高等世界都是根基於愛心等概念。書中也論及一些有趣的議題，像是外星人對人類文明的看法、地球可能會遭遇到的毀滅、各星球的靈性等級，以及業力的運作等等，甚至還提到一種須先接受「啟蒙」才懂得如何欣賞的音樂。
透過兩位乘坐太空船旅行的主角阿米與彼得羅之間的對話，作者用一種簡單、直接又幽默的方式，表達了所有文明世界的高雅理想。比方說彼得羅起初因為對「火星人」產生誤解，而抱持懷疑的態度，甚至忍不住想知道他們何時會侵略地球並併吞為他們的殖民地。不過令他驚訝的是，阿米向他解釋說那些只是幻想，因為如果一個星球滿滿是壞人，自己就會先毀滅：「大概在數千年以前，地球上曾有一個與你們現在很相近的文明，他們的科學水準遠超出愛心水平，因為兩者差距太大，而發生了無法避免的後果。」
書中還提到一項事實：任何文明如果沒有建立在慈悲善待所有眾生的基礎上，包含素食生活方式在內，就不可能會有很大的進步與發展。比方說在一次的太空旅遊當中，阿米用特殊相機透視彼得羅的家時，看到餐桌上彼得羅的祖母為他準備的一盤食物，驚訝地發現裡面有塊肉。「嘔!」阿米感到噁心大叫：「你們怎麼吃動物的屍體！」用這種觀點看他的食物後，彼得羅當天晚上回家後就吃不下那塊肉了。

Catherine Cronin presented on open educational resources (OER) and open educational practices (OEP). She defined OER as openly licensed educational content and OEP as collaborative practices using social technologies for interaction and knowledge sharing. She explained that OER and OEP promote access, equity, and innovative pedagogy. Creative Commons licenses determine how OER can be reused and adapted. Finding and using high-quality OER can save time and support interactive online learning designs. Sharing adapted OER and opening teaching practices through OEP can transform learning and empower students.

Empowering Teachers with More Pluggable Educational Technology
Teachers are often greatly limited in the educational technology they can use in their classes because it becomes increasingly complex to use on the web software from many different vendors. Students must get a separate account for each new system, teachers need to jump between systems to assess and grade student work and transfer grades between the different systems.
Thorough the IMS Global Learning Consortium (www.imsglobal.org), the marketplace is developing standards that will allow course rosters and roles to be moved from one system to another and for graded to be moved between systems without rewiring hand-copying of data between systems. The new standard is called 'IMS Learning Tools Interoperability'. For example if your school uses Moodle and you would like to use www.chemvantage.org for Chemistry homework, you can simply 'plug' ChemVantage into Moodle and the rest is handled automatically.
This presentation will introduce IMS Learning Tools Interoperability at a very high level and show some demonstrations of it working with Sakai, Moodle, and Blackboard.

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
