BeTheFarmer.com
Making your own food and without the
      cost and care packages

         By Andrew Dunbar
Introduction!
• BeTheFarmer.com

• Website organization that helps, support and teach
people in poverty, slums, and urban areas to be
farmers. Gives families the tools they need to
make there own outdoor or indoor farm by
teaching them the ways on how to grow there own
food. Mostly provided to areas that in tropical
regions like Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Madagascar.
It also help and encourage the use of Container
  Farming.
The problem
• The biggest epidemic on our hands today is
hunger. A huge amount of people die everyday
due to malnutrition and starving to death.
Areas in poverty mainly depend on
organizations like the red cross to give them
food in care packages. So why not teach a man
to fish and let the people grow there own food
by teaching them how to be farmers so they
  can make there own crops.
My thoughts
• I always get that crappy feeling inside when I
see a commercial when it talks about kids
starving for food in dirty, harsh looking
environments. So I decided enough sitting
around watching family guy. I decided to think
of a way on how to help people and this is a
way I think it can at least reduce the problem
  of hunger over the world.
Main Focus
• Consecrate on people living in poverty that
don’t have a main source of food and very
little amount to feed families in need.
Main Goals
• To present this to a major charity organization
(like the Red Cross). Would like to be non-
profit organization of course. If it doesn’t go to
well with paring with a another
organization, then I would want my idea to at
least inspire a few group of people so they can
be interested in working together with me.
Website information
• On the website it will include a donation area, in which
half of the money will help support the organization
and provide aid to families and poor people living in
poor conditions without a good source of food. The
family will receive a package of planting supplies (such
as seeds, fertilizer soil, water, watering can, guide book
and etc…) There will also be a volunteer that would
explain how to grow, care, and crop plants inside and or
  outside from the house.

• Each donation can consist of neither = $2.00 or $5.00
  bucks
