Learning outcomes
By the end of Session 1, Formadores will be better able
to:
• Set up the training room in a way that facilitates
learning.
• Discuss and understand the reasons why NEPBE
English lessons include variety of interaction patterns in
English lessons. Use an authentic text and, in small
groups, plan a lesson which includes a variety of
interaction patterns to optimize the quality of the learning
experience.

a. Draw a quick picture of the training room in your Workbook
and highlight the different elements of the room – furniture,
door, windows, etc.
• Discuss positive and negative elements of the space.

b. Now draw a quick picture of your classroom at school.
Again, highlight the different elements of the room –
furniture, door, windows, etc.
c. Say if the furniture can be moved or not.
d. Leave your drawing on view. Walk around the room and
look for a similar drawing to yours. Sit down with that
person. D
e. Decide together on possible improvements.
