Bauer Media Group, Europe’s largest privately owned publishing Group. The
Group is a worldwide offering over 300 magazines in 15 countries, as well as
online, TV and radio stations. They joined the Bauer Media Group in January
2008 following acquisition of Emap plc’s consumer and specialist
magazines, radio, TV, online and digital businesses. Collectively, the Group
employs some 6,400 people.
The business is built on influential media brands with millions of personal
relationships with engaged readers and listeners. Our strategy is to connect
audiences with excellent content through our broad multi-touch point brand
platforms, wherever and whenever and however they want. Our wide
portfolio of influential brands gives us advantages over pure play magazine
or radio competitors.
Today, Bauer Media spans over 80 influential brand names covering a diverse
range of interests including heat – the must have weekly celebrity
title, Parkers, MATCH!, CAR and Yours.
Bauer Media is a sister company of H Bauer Publishing, publisher of the UK's
biggest TV listings, Take a Break and Bella.
BACKGROUND
Published in 1875, they are a multinational media company which
publish many different genres of magazines.
The Bauer Publishing Group comprises 300 magazines worldwide
in 15 countries, as well as TV and radio stations.
Bauer started in the UK with the launch of Bella magazine in 1987
and became Britain's third largest publisher. They then further
expanded in the UK with the purchase of Emap Consumer
Media and Emap Radio in 2008 to become the UK's biggest
publishing group.

The worldwide circulation of Bauer Media Group's magazine titles
amounts to 38 million magazines a week.
AUDIENCES
Due to the fact that they publish many different types of magazines it means that
they would have an extremely large range of audiences, where both males
and females will but the magazines they advertise as they have a large
variety which means more people are likely to buy them.
Bauer media reaches over nineteen million uk adults every week.
We have more than eighty influential media brands, spanning a wide range of
interests, including
heat, GRAZIA, Closer, MCN, FHM, Parkers, MATCH, Magic 105.4, Kiss
100, Kerrang and 4Music. Our business is built on millions of personal
relationships with engaged audiences.

content, whenever, wherever and however they want.

They advertise various types of magazines such as music magazines from a
range variety of genres, celebrity magazines, TV guides, beauty
magazines, car magazines and also puzzle magazines etc.

but from 15 other countries.

  • 3. BACKGROUND Published in 1875, they are a multinational media company which publish many different genres of magazines. The Bauer Publishing Group comprises 300 magazines worldwide in 15 countries, as well as TV and radio stations. Bauer started in the UK with the launch of Bella magazine in 1987 and became Britain's third largest publisher. They then further expanded in the UK with the purchase of Emap Consumer Media and Emap Radio in 2008 to become the UK's biggest publishing group. The worldwide circulation of Bauer Media Group's magazine titles amounts to 38 million magazines a week.
