•Teachers should base learning on what pupils
already know.
• Learning is a cognitive process.
•There are several approaches to teach la
language such as the Communicative Approach
or Task-Based Learning.
•The main aim when learning a language is to be
communicatively competent.
• There may be a positive transfer or an
interference from the L1 to the L2.
•Pupils should use body language or other
strategies to communicate meaning
(communication of meaning).
•Communicative Language Teaching is an
approach that has been used to teach a
language.
•Tools and activities to implement the
communicative approach.
•Real-life examples of CLIL teachers.
