  3. 3. Approach Approach is an attempt for an improvement in teaching having general guidelines and assumptions It does not identify all the steps involved it just indicates the direction to proceed

  10. 10. Features of The Structural Approach • Students are taught to master the pattern of sentences. • Mastery of structures is more important than the acquisition of vocabulary. • Speech is mainly stressed but reading and writing are not neglected.
