In fact, there is no success without the assistance, help whether little or much,
direct or indirect. During my study in Thu Dau Mot University, I have received much
attention, help and love from my teachers, friends and especially the good support of
my family.
I would like to send my deepest gratitude to my teachers in Foreign Languages
Department – Thu Dau Mot University who have given me the priceless knowledge
with enthusiasm.
Besides, I would like to say “thank you” to all staff of Thu Dau Mot University
who have given me many convenient conditions in learning. I finally have the
opportunity to apply what I have learnt through the internship at Quang Dia Cau Ltd. Co.
In spite of the short time of the internship – 2 months – but I have gotten a lot of
experiences. Internship is the best way for me to approach the reality, review my own
knowledge as well as understand more about my job in the future.

instructed me during the internship. Without her instruction, I don’t think I can
complete this internship. She always cares about my internship and help me write the

9. Chapter 1: Introduction
1.1. Reason
English is the most popular language in the world. So that, it plays a big role in the
integration of Viet Nam and other countries.
When the integration is increasing, the relation of people as well as the collaboration
are unlimited in a country like Viet Nam. It also expands to the international
environment. Because of the investment of huge International Corporation or foreign
companies into Viet Nam, the economy of Viet Nam is more and more developing.
Therefore, without English, the Vietnamese companies will get the problem in
communicating their ideas with their partners or customers. Especially, English is very
important with a construction consulting company like Quang Dia Cau Ltd. Co. when
there are a lot of foreigners coming and working in Viet Nam. People often say “a rolling
stone gathers no moss”. So that, Quang Dia Cau Ltd. Co. has to use English to expand
their business. That is the reason why I choose Quang Dia Cau Ltd. Co. is the place for
my internship. In there, I can practice what I have learnt in Thu Dau Mot University. In
addition, working as the Assistant Director will give me the opportunity to gain more
skills and knowledge which are useful for my career. Finally, the working environment
of Quang Dia Cau Ltd. Co. is very professional and friendly which is very suitable for
my long-term plan.
