This document summarizes key support services provided by the Back on Track Initiative to help High School Equivalency students successfully transition to and persist in college. The initiative provides: 1) College enrollment support such as assistance with applications, registration, financial aid, and advising to address barriers HSE students face. 2) Math placement exam preparation and tutoring to reduce the need for developmental math courses. 3) Early college readiness integration into HSE programs and advising to build a college-going culture. The overall goal is to increase college enrollment and reduce summer attrition rates ("summer melt") for HSE students transitioning to college degree programs.
