WHAT IS IT?
● Designed to promote a college and career focused
environment in school
● Students are selected by GPA, test scores, and behavior
● Includes class to replace an elective as well as trained core
teachers who employ a rigorous curriculum around:
Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration,
Organization, and Reading (WICOR)
● College visibility and discovery
● Implementation of rigorous academic strategies in all
classes
● Safe and collaborative learning environment
● Frequent assessment of program progress and success
