Luna Falk is a classical violist currently completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona on a full scholarship. She specializes in chamber works and solo viola performances. Falk began studying music at a young age, starting on violin and transitioning to viola in her teens. She has performed extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe and anticipates holding three recitals as well as attending the Aspen Music Festival this summer to further her musical career.

young
musicians
sustaining
the
legacy
of
classical
music
and
bringing
it
towards
new
audiences
and
new
mediums.
She
specializes
in
the
performance
of
chamber
and
solo
works
for
string
orchestra
and
solo
viola.
She
is
currently
completing
her
undergraduate
music
degree
Hong
Mei
Xiao,
having
previously
studied
with
the,
respective,
Tucson
symphony
principle
violists;
Ann
Weaver
and
Illona
Vukovic-‐Gay.
She
has
performed
and
participated
in
master
classes
throughout
the
United
States
and
Europe.
She
has
studied
at
the
University
of
Arizona
since
her
admittance
in
the
fall
of
2013
on
full
scholarship.
A
student
of
violin
from
the
early
age
of
6
Luna
excelled
in
the
study
of
music
from
a
young
age.
As
a
young
child
she
trained
as
a
fiddler
and
would
transition
to
classical
training
at
the
age
of
10.
At
the
ripe
age
of
16
Luna
fell
in
love
with
the
viola
and
there
began
the
love
affair
of
a
life
time.
Starting
as
a
sophomore
at
her
arts
magnet
high
school
she
was
accepted
into
the
top
ensembles
on
a
city
and
state
level
studying
under
the
wise
baton
of
the
likes
of
Suzette
Battan,
Dennis
Bourret
and
Thomas
Cockrell.
As
Luna
begins
to
finalize
her
undergraduate
career
she
anticipates
holding
three
full-‐length
recitals
as
well
as
attending
Aspen
Music
festival
in
the
summer
of
2017.
